Pauline Gan is known for her competitiveness in sports as well as her business acumen. Pauline has 20 years of experience in formal organized sports programs. She started to compete in sports while she was at school. Pauline participates frequently in a variety of outdoor activities and enjoys extreme challenges such as helicopter skiing and marathon running.

Pauline is also a professional marketing executive, who has over 10 years of hi-tech experience in international sales and marketing.

She has lived and worked in 8 countries and is proficient in 8 languages. She was born in Malaysia, and was raised in England. Pauline graduated from universities in England and The Netherlands with a double major in Marketing and Economics.

Social Performance
During Pauline’s spare time, she is an avid sports enthusiast. Pauline truly believes that high performance in adventurous activity translates to high job performance. She has been nicked name "Energy Ball".

One of Pauline’s latest achievements is that she completed the Silicon Valley Marathon in October 2002. She ran the complete 26 miles from downtown San Jose to Los Gatos and back. Pauline finished in the top 20% of women runners at the marathon. She is also a certified scuba diver.
